U13 Ice Dogs beat Minto

The U13 Ice Dogs had to play another top team from our division on Friday night, the Minto Mad Dogs. The Ice Dogs came out flying and Carter M started us off with a top shelf shot. Then Bronson B made a beauty cross ice pass to Waylon for a one timer and Aden M tipped it home. Another goal from Landry W from Jesse P and Aden M and it was 3-0 after the first period. But the Mad Dogs are a very good team and they stormed back with 3 un answered goals to tie it up. After a quick pep talk on the bench, Porter B fed Jesse P on a perfect breakout and Jesse and Aden M were off on a 2 on 1. Jesse passed over to Aden M for a one timer top shelf shot and it was 4-3 at the end of the second. In the intermission we talked about staying the course and playing our game, and the Ice Dogs never really gave up too many chances in the third. Aden M finished off the scoring on a point shot from Bronson B and a tip pass from Porter B. 5-3 solid win against a very good team.
