Deep Trouble in Shallow Lake
Fresh off their win at home in Chesley, the U15 Rep team travelled to Shallow Lake to take on the Lakers.
A soft start and puck watching in the first period, had the Icedogs behind early and it was a deep deficit they would not overcome.
Although outshooting our opponents by 12 shots, and even down a player to a one game suspension, the outcome was far in our opponents favor.
It comes down to learning that as a group, we have to improve on a few things and hopefully a gut check for those who know they can bring it up a notch or two.
I will give a shut out to Dustin V who got some game action, coming in to net for the mid part of the game.
The change motivated our group and they woke up and put a better effort later on in the game.
