A Packed House in Paisley
Well, it was a mild Sat Morning until approx 11:30am when your U11 Icedogs rolled into the Paisley barn just FULL of revenge for a 12:15pm game against the Kinucks from Kincardine.

Kinucks 1 game up on us from our 2-1 loss down there last weekend with a bit of a smaller bench but today your U11's had all 12 kiddos clicking just nicely, with a big shout out to Declan H as our AP backup tender for today,  however the Kinucks did get off to a quick start netting a wrap around in on Jack T early in the 1st, but that only fired up your Icedogs that much more and walking in from the blueline and just ripping her hard wrist shot Avery W ties the game at 1 with Little Jackson M and Hunter T getting the helpers. 1-1 end of the 1st, all 3 Coaches had good chat with our U11 troops reinforcing that the 2nd period is Icedog owned. Icedog defense was yet SOLID again from Sam F, Landon S, Avery W and Bronson B. At 6:07 of the 2nd period and Unassisted, Jackson M finds the back of the Kinucks net with his extra effort down low putting your Icedogs up 2-1. Your U11's played some end to end hockey throughout this 2nd period and Kinucks lost control of puck in neutral zone and picking it up over against boards on right wing was Calhon U and rips it by Kinucks tender bar down Unassisted making it 3-1 Icedogs and turns out it was the game Winning goal. Kinucks were quick to slip another one by Jack T on a fluke bounce but Fans remember, your Conditioned U11's are a 3rd period team and they put it all on the ice for this one. The 3rd period action was intense, with Fans screaming and cheering from both sides, was kinda like a tennis match with pucks going from end to end and heads on a swivel but Icedog defense was not letting them Kinucks by. At 3min mark of 3rd period Kinucks call a timeout, Icedogs thankful for this to catch some wind and with many icings in the last 3mins it felt like a long long period, but Kinucks gained control of the puck and pulled their goalie, they kept the pressure on us in our end but the hard work down low from our D paid off and puck was sent down the ice for an Icing. Icedogs turn for timeout now, Coach Brent told these kiddos, now its up to you kids, leave it all on the ice, so right off the face off Landry W wins the draw clean and Paysen H picks up the lose puck just inside the blueline and burys it in the empty net sending your Icedogs off with a Win 4-2. Next action for these relentless U11's is heading south down the highway Sun March 6 for a 5;30 game against CP in Milverton.
