Icedogs coming on strong
In our second game of regular season the Novice Rep Icedogs came out hot!! Early in the first the Icedogs got on the board with 3-0 lead, with goals from Landry Wathke assisted by Paysen Hamell, Calhon Urbshott assisted by Jackson Mannerow, and Jordie Stephen.
Later in the 1st Landry Wathke pots his 2nd goal to leave Icedogs with a commanding 4-0 lead. Shallow Lake outskated Icedogs in the 2nd Period early on but Will Hampton stoppped everything that came at him. Late in the 2nd period our Icedogs jumped on a rebound lying in the crease and Jordie Stephen would net his 2nd goal of the night making it 5-0. Once again in the 3rd period our Icedogs came out flying early on, then got a penalty mid way through but Will shut the Lakers down.. Once back to even strength Paysen Hamell scored late in the 3rd to make it 6-0, with 2:35 left in the 3rd the Lakers got away from us and scored getting them on the board. Will stood on his head for the rest of the 3rd to hold the Icedogs to a 6-1 win. Next action is Saturday against Huron Bruce in Chesley at 11am.
