IceDogs Take a Bite out of the Vipers!
The Atom Rep AEMHA IceDogs were fresh off their most complete game of the season last time out and were hungry and waiting for the Arthur Vipers.  The stands were especially packed for this one as it was the IceDogs final regular season game.

The IceDogs had some good, hard practices under their belt and it paid off immediately.  Ethan S. and Karden C. would work the puck to the net and Austin L. would collect his own rebound and bury it for a 1-0 lead.  The Vipers get the next two goals when the IceDogs let up and did a bit too much puck watching.  A Viper penalty late in the period would prove costly.  The IceDogs went to work and this time Austin L and Ethan S. fed a ready and waiting Karden C.  Karden would fake low and go high to bend the twine and knot this one up at two.  It was definitely the TSN Turning Point of this game as the IceDog bench was fired up and ready to take the game to the Vipers.

And take over the game they did.  Austin L. would get a nifty tip in (another power play goal) off an Anderson G. rocket from the point (after Ethan S. cycled the puck and fed him at the blue line).  George I. would drive the net to collect and bury a rebound after Landon B. and Logan H. passed the puck around.  The line of Owen M-Lucas S. and Brayden P didn't get on the scoreboard in the second but they were rekeing havoc in the offence end and wearing out the Viper Defence.  The score was 4-2 IceDogs after two periods of play.

The third had the IceDogs putting the squeeze on the Vipers with hard work and relentless checking.  The IceDogs poured it on and could have easily had 3 or 4 more goals but more importantly, they didn't give the Vipers an inch.  The final would end up 4-2 'Dogs and the IceDogs head into the playoffs red hot.

Another complete effort IceDogs! I am running out of things to say about this team!  Keep up the great work IceDogs!

The IceDogs would also like to thank anyone who contributed to our bottle drive today.  I don't have the final numbers but it seems like lots of Arran-Elderslie fans enjoyed themselves around the holidays.  Thanks for contributing!
