Slow start but good ending against Bruce Peninsula.
After spotting them two goals we rushed back in the third period to tie it up and force OT where we came up winning 3-2.
The first two periods were tough on us as some 'hits' were being let go and also at least five posts were hit by us. As a result after two periods we were down 2-0 going into the third.
Lately we have been coming from behind and this night was no exception in our first playoff game in Wiarton. It all started with Joey passing out front to Brock who promptly snapped in the puck in the bottom corner. Then later Bradly does his twisting and turning down the left side and snip's in our second goal to force OT.
Ten minute OT was over pretty soon as Gavin 'Bug' comes in and rifles a shot in and Bang the Ice Dogs win it 3-2.
With souvenir puck in hand the Ice Dogs move on to the next playoff game full of energy and excitement :-)
