Canadian Tire Cup Novice LL Tournament
On Saturday February 4th the Novice LL White participated in the Canadian Tire Cup LL Tournament.
The Ice Dogs faced the Shallow Lake Lakers LL2 for their first game of the tournament. The Ice Dogs were able to battle back from a 3-1 deficit to win the game 4-3 in sudden death 4 on 4 OT.
In their second game, the Ice Dogs battled the Hanover Falcons LL2 and fans were once again treated to an OT thriller that ended in a 5-4 score and seen the Ice Dogs advancing to the final.
Unfortunately the Ice Dogs were unable to pull off another win, and lost 6-1 to Kincardine in the Championship final.
