Score didn't Reflect the Game
The Atom LL Red Ice Dogs played a spirited game in Tara tonight vs. Shallow Lake. It was a full team effort that saw the Lakers go away with a 4-1 win.
The game was a back and forth affair that saw both teams getting good chances. Goal-tending was superb for both teams.
It seemed like it was a matter of puck luck as the the Lakers were afforded bounces that the Ice Dogs were not. Everyone was working hard and in good position, but couldn't seem to get the puck in place when needed.
The team seems to be coming together at the right time as we look forward to the tournament in mid Feb in Midland and playoffs after the 7th. One more regular season game remains vs the Ice Dogs White team on Jan 28. see you at the rink!
