It seems shots for and against mean the difference in our last 2 games.
RRR filled in for MM and the weekend games showed that if we play more offence and cut down on our shots on Awesome Lawson, we have better results in WOAA 'home and away' series.

Our first game against Mount Forest was a great game all around, with the shots close at 27/23 in favour of MF, the game ended in a 3-3 draw after a 10 minute sudden death overtime. The first couple minutes had Lawson making 5 saves after a couple of scrambles in our end. Later after a MF goal, Mason almost tied it after an end to end rush, with Jason R steamrolling people all over the place. MF scored again and the period ended with us down by 2 goals.
Now in the second period, Brandon came out of the corner and took a shot, save, but Jason T slid it in and we were down 2-1. Then just as our PP started and off the face off, Mitch VV took a shot and Brandon got the rebound and fired it in, and we ended the period tied at 2-2.
The third period had lots of action, Brandon almost scoring on a breakaway, he then 'took out' the linesman on a slid out, and Jason R going at it with #15 all game. With 3:05 left, Bradley took a 'floater' shot just over the blueline and it fluttered over the goalies head and plopped in the net, putting us up 3-2. Then with 2:12 left, Mount Forest tied it and we were headed for a 10 minute sudden death overtime.
It soon started off with a PP for us, and closely after that they got a boarding penalty against Mason, which put Mason out for the OT to rest from the hard hit. We peppered their goalie on the 5 on 3 but couldn't get the game winner. Lawson made a game saving save off his blocker, and we came up with a 3-3 tie.
Well done Ice Dogs!!!

The second game was against Listowel, and getting outshot 31-11 proved to be costly, and after falling behind 2-0 in the first, we couldn't get back into the the game, losing 5-0.
