The Atom Rep IceDogs lost to the TCDMHA Rebels on Wednesday night. Facing off against the Rebels for the first time in the regular season. The IceDogs showed amazing improvement holding the Rebels at 6-0 compared to the two digit losses in exhibition games.
There has been some shuffling on the IceDogs team and a lot of hard work at practice and on Wednesday night you could see that it is paying off. The IceDogs held the Rebels to one goal throughout the first period.
Period two was more of the same as the IceDogs held their ground allowing the Rebels only one goal once again.
In period 3 things started to get messy. The IceDogs endurance started to lag and frustration reached its peak and the penalties racked up with the score.
