The Bantam LL Ice Dogs 'pound' their way to another win.
This time it was in Hanover as we pounded out a hard fought 6-3 win over the Falcons.
The first period started off with a mad scramble and Brock taking a shot on net, and Brandon whacking at the puck two times to score the first goal. Then on a PP Tie passed back to Todd who blasted the puck threw the goalies pads to take a 2-0 lead. It was a hard checking game with both teams 'running' each other in a good way, and we ended the first period up 2-1. The second period had lots of goals, and Todd started it off by skating into Hanover's end and slid a pass to Conlan behind the net, who then passed to Tyler who fired the puck in the top corner. Mitch VV then hit a streaking Brandon (who looks like he is always falling over) and he deked the goalie for another goal and we ended the period up 4-3. The third saw Mitch K hit Brandon with a pass for a 'break-a-way' goal off the post. The game ended on a play that the team did all night, as a hardworking Brandon dug the puck from behind the net out to an open Mitch VV who stuffed it in to end the game with a 6-3 hard fought win!!!
