Friday night the IceDogs faced off against the West Grey Warriors one last time. The winner of this game would be awarded the title of WOAA Hodges Division B Side Champions. Both teams, as always, came to win.
Both team were skating hard. Right from the first faceoff. This had been a series of shut outs, regardless of who was the winner. So getting that first goal was crucial. Just a few minutes into the first period in a beautiful full line play

Kayden W. who fired it off the corner bar in behind the goaltender. Giving the IceDogs the 1-0 advantage.
The second period was a scoreless battle. The puck was a slippery adversary for both sides, sliding and bouncing every which way. IceDogs Goaltender
Tyson L. was on his A game, stopping everything that came his way.
The third period scoring secured the win for the IceDogs. As
Emmett J. and
Kayden W. each added to the score. There just wasn't enough game left for the Warriors to catch up.
