Third period scramble ended with 12 seconds to go !!!
The Pee Wee Red took on Bruce Peninsula and the scoring ended with only twelve seconds to go, in a mad scramble right to the final buzzer.
The game right from the beginning was a fast paced affair, with both goalies keeping their teams in the game. Lots of shots were directed at the nets, with many missing there mark due to the quick skating of both teams.
Going into the third period, we found ourselves behind 2-0 but we kept the pressure on, and finally at 6:15 Mitch VV wristed a goal into the far side, making it 2-1. Then soon after, at 5:11, Brock tied it with a nice top shelf goal, and the Red Dogs were back in the game. After giving up a 'stinker' goal, we tied it again with 1:19 to go, as Mitch VV went end-to-end and scored on a shifty deke. We almost hung on to the tie game but this crazy game ended with 12 seconds to go on a Bruce Pen goal, and we just couldn't tie it up again.
Team Red didn't give up right to the end and we worked hard as a team.
