Early Winter Drought Contines
While parts of the region get belted with some heavy snowfalls, things continue dry up offensively for our Ice Dogs.

On Thursday night, the Bruce Pen. squad dropped in for the fourth match up between these two teams this year.  The Ice Dogs headed into their third straight game without a goal looking for some offence without Will (pneumonia).

The first period might be considered typical for our gang--a little late getting off the ground--tentative at best, and a little uninspired for sure.  Tyson continued to hold down the fort while the team settled in, allowing at least a dozen shots in the first.  But the second didn't hold much promise, as the Dogs struggled to gets shots on net and string together much in the way of sustained offensive threat.  By the end of the second, it was 2-0 Bruce Pen.

In the third, things looked promising for AE, when the Predators were assessed a string of penalties that, at one point, put our guys up 2 men for almost 2 full minutes.  While the Ice Dogs looked a little hungrier in the third, the starved offence continued, and with only 6 shots on the Bruce Pen net in the game, we fell 3-0 to a beatable squad.  Unfortunately, the offensive drought continues...

Honourable mentions go out to Tyson, Clayton, Emily, and Jakob who all had notable moments in the match.

Next action up is Silver Stick in Wingham Tuesday.
