IceDogs Frozen! Rebels Win THIS Series
Rebels came to Paisley and from the get-go, they were gone! Despite a fabulous series for the Dogs, the Rebels take the series with a solid 6 to 1 win. But we'll be seeing them....later.
The IceDogs and Rebels met for game 5. There were many terrific hockey moments in this game, but just not for the IceDogs. The best moment was in the second period when Jason (#88) and (#30) Spencer worked together to score our only goal. Tyson tried his best the whole game and made some wonderful stops, but he couldn't save us. He was seeing more rubber than a dead snapping turtle on the highway. (Yeah...totally stole that metaphor!) The IceDogs had their noses rubbed in it, but they were showed great sportsmanlike behaviour during the game and during the awarding of the trophy. Very proud of you, Doggies!
And we'll be seeing that team again. Saturday. For the Western Ontario Division. We'll let the Rebels have this series, because we will be taking the next one!
