IceDogs Take Down Thunder
It was a fun match up this weekend between the Arran-Elderslie IceDogs Sr. Tyke Team and the Tiverton Thunder. The IceDogs were pumped up for the first game of the IceDogs Season and they took that excitement all the way to the net! Winning game one was a big bonus for all the players.
With Kiernan strapping on the pads to defend the net the IceDogs took off at high speed. From the first drop of the puck to the last it was a scrum, with every IceDog doing their best. Kiernan only let in one goal during his entire shift. By the time Leah took over as netminder halfway through the game Christine, Seamus, Emmett J. and Emmett H. had all scored for the IceDogs. Leah worked like a pro keeping the Thunder from scoring and allowing the IceDog scorers to obtain a nice cushion on the scoreboard. All of the IceDogs helped out with every player on the roster with a goal or an assist. What great teamwork!!
